These are some of my very favorite Christmas decorations. I love Christmas villages, but this one at Target a few years ago just shouted out my name.
Maybe it was the glitter.....
Maybe it was the little school house.....
Or the charming little church......
Or one of the two inviting houses....
Really, I know why.
It was the colors!
I have never seen a village with the whites, reds, blues, and greens that this village has. I sure wish Target would bring this sweet little village back!
It's Rednesday so you just know I'm heading on over to Sue's at It's a Very Cherry World.
Hope you can come over and play too!
Oh I sure hope you can come on over and enter my giveaway.
Leave a comment on the giveaway post. I knew I had a few more little treasures to share with you - I just had to find them!
I've added this Mary Engelbreit tin
and
these sweet vintage style (they look authentically old, but they're not) Santa Candy boxes.
Thanks for buzzin' by!
I have the same village & I love it! I showed it on my blog last week--one of my favorite things!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a wonderful night!

That is a sweet village indeed...Go Target... Festive hugs, Mica
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteYour village is cute. Makes you just want to look inside and see what's going on in there. :)
Happy Rednesday.

What precious little houses!
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage-y Santa Candy boxes!!
ReplyDeleteI love your little houses! I so wish we had a Target here.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I'd found those at Target "a few years ago"... not sure how I missed them!

Confession here...I am NOT a village person. My MIL used to put up a very eleborate village each year and when she passed it was divided up between my 2 sister-in-laws. They all love the entire village thing...me, not so much. ALL that to say, IF I had found YOUR village at Target, I would have joined in with the village thing for sure, lol. It is gorgeous and the color scheme is just perfect! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteCHRISTmas Blessings!
Gail
I have never collected any of the village sets. My sister does and leaves it set up all year. I am not familiar with yours, but it looks very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSuch a darling Christmas village! I'm thinking I need one now! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Rednesday,
Sally
I love the colors of that village too. I bought mine at target a long time ago. Gotta love Target.
ReplyDeleteThe village is so cute and would look great in my blue family room! Just kidding. It looks great in your house.Happy Reds!
ReplyDeleteI think more good things come from Target than from Martha Stewart.
ReplyDeleteLove your little village. I got a cute white glitter church last year from Target and I'm happy with it. Love the colors on yours!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute village, and it's a shame that Target doesn't have new houses every year, so that you could expand the neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteI won't enter your giveaway, because it would be unfair for me to win again! But could you tell me where you got the "vintage" Santa candy? Thanks Janelle!
Happy REDnesday!
Carol
I love your village, every little touch you added too. I have seen lots of little vintage houses on ebay lately---wouldn't a tree just with houses look cute? Maybe next year.
