A typo.
A stinkin' lousy typo.
A stinkin' lousy typo kept Baby Bee's name off the basketball list.
The day after all the sadness and disappointment, Baby Bee was called out of her after school program class and was told that her name was inadvertently left off the team list and she could join practice that very day.
Baby Bee was sooooo ecstatic. She told me she prayed that there was some sort of mistake. And there was.
So now I'm a Dance Mom, a Piano Mom, a Swim Mom AND a Basketball Mom. What's next? Oh, I know what's next. Shopping for basketball shoes.
I'm so excited for her. Tell her a perfect stranger says good luck ;P.
ReplyDeleteYAAAAY! Congrats to Baby Bee! I heard your scream all the way up here! Thanks for stopping by, I know I've been a lousy blogger. It's good to know my friends r still here!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
Dawn
Oh that is such happy news! I'm so glad for her.
ReplyDeleteA girl of many talents. You are a mom who will juggle many activities. You need to get some good running shoes, sounds like you will need them. :) Happy news indeed.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Thank goodness for typos!! Congrats to Baby Bee!!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to be a very busy mom! Enjoy it!
Hugs,
Donna
I'm so glad and I love it when kids get their prayers answered! Such a boost to their faith.
ReplyDeleteMy son played basketball starting in 2nd grade all through high school and LOVED it! Lucky you it's such a fun game to watch.:)
I am so happy for her....my kids both were in basketball and soccer and although it was a LOT of running...it is some of all of our best memories!! Yeah for her!!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely, so glad everything turned out well.
ReplyDeleteThe wonderful power of prayer!
ReplyDeleteYeah for your daughter. School is hard enough to have something like that happen. Give her a big hug.
ReplyDeleteI love that her prayer was answered. Baby Girl had a similar thing happen last year, her prayers were answered too. Doesn't it just give you goose bumps!
ReplyDeleteSo glad it all worked out for Baby Bee! Sometimes I miss those days of running to and from sports and all of the other activities, but sometimes I can't believe I was able to pull it off while working full time. In the end, it's all worth it though.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to Baby Bee for a great season, but most especially for a boatload of fun!
Aww but it taught her how to take the disappointment with grace and she did and then the surprise of making the team. I am so glad for her.
ReplyDeleteNow that is good news! :)
