Baby Bee is definitely turning into a tween.
(She'll be 11 in February, you know.)
She is obsessed with peace signs. What's with that? |
We are currently working on turning her room from this sweet pink and green fluffy shabby chic little girl's room into a tween dream!
So, why not a lime green, turquoise, and blingy Christmas tree?
Right after Christmas, Baby Bee's room will be torn asunder and painted and restyled in these colors.
She misses her old tree. And you needn't worry - all those wonderful Mary Engelbreit ornaments are safely stored for the future for my sentimental little Baby Bee.
But this one is so cool and glamourous.
(and smaller - I appreciate that)
Won't it look great with her new room?
(that's her new duvet)
And now.........the winner of my book giveaway is.......
She sure is a sweetie and I'm sure you will enjoy her blog.
Her stories are from her heart and she's a true Southern lady.
Thank you so much for your visits.
I'm always tickled to see you've come by and left a comment.
It's just such a great little day brightener!
Awesome colors!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Donna!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see Baby Bee's new bedroom after Christmas ... love the colors she has chosen! She has good taste like her mother :)
Thank you for the book again!
Hugs,
Donna
Congrats to the winner.Love the colors she picked for her new look. Can't wait to see it after the holidays.Warm Blessings!~Amy
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Donna. I think Baby Bee is groovy.
ReplyDeleteOh her tree is too cute. We are getting ready to pain my 13 yr. olds room. She wants a light green on the walls with some orange and purple accents with owls as her theme. We picked her up a cool green comforter at Target.
ReplyDeleteThat tree is cool-o. My youngest is getting a room re-do for Christmas (well, at least a new comforter set and curtains). At 14 she wants to leave the pink, green, and aqua butterflies behind and move to black with white accents. No more little girls here.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner of the give-away!
What fun to redecorate a room in "tween" style. When my daughter was away on a school trip at age 16 did a complete redo of her room right down to the floor. She had been wanting "vintage Hawaiian".... it was a lot of fun to do a room from top to bottom for a special someone... and now your daughter will have something to look forward to after the holidays ;)

I LOVE those colors together--so would my daughter! You're a wonderful mamma to let her change her style & save her sentimental younger-girl things for the time when she'll love them all over again!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful weekend, dear friend!
Julie
What a great color combo! Can't wait to see the new room when it's done.
