A Little Bird Told Me....

Yes, this little birdie mentioned that we celebrated a certain Baby Bee's birthday.....
So we had to get out the FAMILY BIRTHDAY DECORATIONS!
These are kind of like holiday decorations,
but they're for family birthdays!
Can you guess how old Baby Bee is now?
First, we fill one of the apothecary jars with all kinds of birthday candles......
Then we get out the cutest little cupcake from the fabulous
(Worked a long time getting that little cutie on ebay several years ago.)
And of course, this plaque is a particular favorite 'cause she looks just like my Baby Bee did when she was about 4 years old!  Baby Bee even had that mischievous and yet angelic expression on her face too.
And here they are, all together!

Do you have special decorations for your family birthdays?

Well I'm sharing these over at
for
Show and Tell Friday!

Hope you can join us over there for the party!

Thanks for buzzin' in!  We all enjoy seeing you visit our little cottage.

And thank you for all your well wishes!  I'm good enough to go to work and those report cards are all done and delivered to my students.  YEAH!

And, if you're still here - I'm working on my 400 follower giveaway!
Here's a sneak peek......
hope you can buzz by again!

  1. Happy Birthday Baby Bee! I hope you had a great birthday, and got to do fun things all day long!
That plaque is SO cute, and I love the jar full of candles. I don't think we have any special b-day decorations, although I do have a birthday flag that I fly, if I remember to. And I always try to put some silly and unexpected decoration on our daughter's cake. One year it was tiny pink pumps, since she loves shoes!

  4. I just LOVE your birthday tradition decorations!!! I always put photos of the girls on their cakes - some recent, some from when they were babies. And we do have a "celebrate" crown that is many times worn by the birthday gal or guy for photos!... Donna

  16. Happy Birthday to your sweet baby bee. I love birthdays, but we don't usually have any special decorations. Just usually a balloon or 2, and always a special cake...either home made or a special request from the bakery. I think you have a wonderful way of decorating for someone's special day. Very sweet.
By the way, I simply adore your new blog look. So very pretty.
