Baby Bee recently went to a birthday party. We hadn't bought a card and I thought Baby Bee might enjoy making her own - inspired by the lovely ladies (and gents) of Blog Land.
Didn't that turn out cute? Simple wrap and yet still festive.
She cut the flags out of scrapbook paper and glued bakery twine on for the flags to hang from.
And then she stamped "Happy Birthday."
Maybe Baby Bee will follow in my footsteps. (Her mother says with a wee bit of pride.)
I think she did a fabulous job.
Thanks for buzzing by!
When's your birthday? Maybe I can get Baby Bee to make a card for you too.
Buzzingly,
How sweet! I hope her dear friend appreciated all the time she put into making such a special card.
ReplyDeleteI bet she enjoyed making it too.
Very crafty indeed!
That came out great. My kids love it when others make them cards and mine make them as well. So much more personal.
ReplyDeleteThis is just darling! I love the little banner! Someone has talent!!

ReplyDeleteCute~
Hi sweet Bee! Thanks for buzzing over to my blog, and for your nice comments! This card is adorable! I love the handmade cards, and my daughter always made her own too. She is 21, and still likes to make her own cards! It is also great for their creativity, and keeps them busy! Have a great weekend!

Hello,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting Red Rose Alley and following. Your blog is so pretty and charming. My sister loves quilts, and when I saw your side bar, I thought about her. I'll tell you a little something...Little House on The Prairie is my absolute favorite, and I watch the re-runs all the time. I've never read the books, but the movies I love. I will be visiting you again, and I hope you are having a lovely day.

She is certainty headed in the right direction for designing her on things and marketing them.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Baby Bee did a great job of decorating that card and birthday package! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a cute blog. I like how you gave "bee" names to all your family members and friends on your sidebar, tee hee. :) You are very creative, indeed!
Isn't this just beautiful! So is she.
ReplyDeleteWould you be so kind to leave a comment on my BLOG ONLY, for the Miracle Makeover fund drive. Charlie, 8 yr. old, & his story are fabulous. Every comment brings us a $1 for the next person that will be sponsored.

Dear Sweet Bee,
ReplyDeleteIt would seem that Baby Bee is heading in your direction! Isn't it wonderful to see a creative mind blooming before your very eyes!
I'm loving the look of your blog-sweet and summery. Reminds me of the vintage scraps from my Grandma's sewing bag that I haven't figured out what to do with yet. Too bad I'm not a quilter!
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Sherry
Great Idea!...Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a follower!
Baby Bee is definately taking after Mama Bee. Very good job! I always love it when I see my daughters creating. Heck, what am I saying? Even my 30 year old son made me a homemade birthday card. It was awesome!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! A new generation inspired by blogs:>)
