Again, dear friends, thank you so much for you encouraging words and prayers. It has meant so much to me and my family.
Today, I went to an oncologist because my primary doctor was concerned about my not improving and enlarged lymph nodes. In fact, he said the dreaded words to me, it could be lymphoma. So I've been praying and just staying positive and working on feeling better, which I do. I would say I'm now at about 90% of normal. I didn't want to say exactly where I was going because I didn't know anything yet and I felt like I didn't want to raise the big alarm when there might have been no need.
So today, the oncologist really believes I have had some sort of viral infection and he said he would bet BIG $ that it is not what we have been afraid it might be. I will have to go back for additional testing to make sure, but I am feeling so much better.
Thank you friends! I believe your prayers and kind words have helped me get through this time.

ReplyDeleteHi Janelle,
ReplyDeleteThis is very good news! Over the weekend I saw a bumble bee busy on one of my flowers and at that time I sent my wishes into the sky: may Sweet Bee soon be sipping sweet honey also.
Have a happy day and enjoy summer!
Wall to wall blue skies overhere.
PS. There are some really weird viruses and stuff going around! I saw you DID visit my recipe blog, and YES I DO think almonds would be good in the mix--the dates that are mixed in with the nuts adds a surprising sweetness with the nice taste of the cinnamon.
ReplyDeleteHooray!!!! I am so glad that you are feeling better and I will keep praying for you as you await the "final" word.
ReplyDeleteLove, Katy Noelle

Doctors should never tell us what they suspect, just wait until they are sure. Here lately, I have lost some of my faith in the doctors. I do pray yours knows what he is doing and you continue to improve. Take care and blessings to you and family.
ReplyDeleteGreat News! Don't know what it is, but it seems a lot of ladies are coming up with infections..that are giving false indications of all kinds of other illnesses.
ReplyDeleteContinue to feel better :)
Thanks for taking time to stop by today.
Happy Rednesday to you too!
Still sending positive thoughts and prayers your way!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are feeling better .I will keep you in my prayers .
