Thank You - Your Kindness Means So Much

I can't begin to tell you how uplifting all your kind words were to our family.
Your words warmed our hearts.

Our hearts were full of love and sorrow, but the memorial service planned by my brother-in-law and his family was comforting and such a celebration of his life.  The tears flowed, yes, but the laughter rang out far more than the tears.  And there was music,
much music - from The Beatles to Christian Contemporary to Dr. Demento!
All of the brothers, their wives, nieces, and nephews were able to have this time together along with Worker Bee's mother.

Rest in peace Greg.

Thank you, again, so very, very much.

  1. Glad to hear everything went well.

  2. Music makes these events memorable, tolerable and helpful to healing. I hope your family finds peaceful healing in the days to come. Thinking of you. ~Kelly

  6. Tears and Laughter are so healing. I am glad your family had this time together.

  7. I am sure you are drained. Rest and take care and I look forward to your always lovely posts in the future.

  8. My heart goes out to you and your family. I agree about the music.

  9. At times like this, it's so important to surround yourself with family and friends. I'm sending you a big hug, and The Bees are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  10. You have made a wonderful; memory. And mourning his loss, in the way that you did, brought more joy to your family to remember him that way. I am sure he would have been pleased.
My thoughts are with you and yours in your loss.

  11. I am glad all went well for you. That's a lovely arrangement with the guitar - so special.
I wanted to share with you that Victoria Magazine has some free bee botanical prints - I copied them and framed them - they're wonderful! Of course I shared in a post!
