All these little Rednesday treats are hanging on one little wall in my hallway. They live next to Baby Bee's room and our hall bathroom.
First up tonight for your Rednesday pleasure is Baby Bee's nightlight. When her nursery was all primary colors it actually lived in her room, but now it's been promoted to the hallway. Isn't it a cheery sight?
How could you be grumpy when you're greeted with this every morning? I know how - lack of sleep, that's how!
Our next red of the evening is a framed Mary Engelbreit calendar page from a very special day.
Yes, it was Ash Wednesday, but that's not why it was special.
Any guesses?
You give up?
That is the calendar page from the day Baby Bee was born! My mom, the Sewing Bee, had this custom framed for us. Wasn't that a sweet idea? And don't you just love what it says? Baby Bee was meant to be born on that day so I could have this lovely quote!
And for your final red cutie for tonight, I have a piece of vintage quilt with a lovely red center. I bought it framed and all on ebay.
Here's how they all look together.....
I neglected to mention the r-e-a-d sign 'cause it's not red, but it looks cute there too, don't you think? You sure can't tell this is the house of a teacher, can you? Poor Baby Bee had no choice but to learn how to read. Oh and everybody who comes over to the house has the strange compulsion to rearrange the letters on that little sing. It's read p-e-a-r, d-e-a-r, r-a-d-e, r-e-a-p, and other combinations.
Well I hope you enjoyed these few little red treats. Be sure to check out all the other fun stuff going on at Sue's blog party over at It's a Very Cherry World.
Thanks for popping in! And aren't you glad it's Rednesday? I sure am!

ReplyDeleteMy husband teaches elementary school, so my eye immediately landed on your "read" sign! :)
Your grouping is so very charming! I so love the framed ME calender page - I was just looking for quotes for my soon to be 18 year old niece's bday and came across tons of pages I had saved from one. I'm guessing your darling Baby Bee's nightlight is ME too? And I can never ever get enough of vintage quilts. (I also love the yummy yellow of your wall!).

ReplyDeleteHey back! It is hard to stop at one tiny square! But, taken slowly, it's worth it. I found the NewTree chocolate at WalMart!!! I was intrigued as well by the Lavender infusion. If you can't find it in a store - here's their website.
