Tonight is one of those crazy we're back into the school routine nights. Baby Bee has piano lessons at 6:15 on Tuesdays so dinner has to be quick and easy. Also tonight our kitchen light with the very expensive hard to find lightbulb burned out. So we had Chipotle Chicken Paninis, red grapes, a few chips, and milk in the living room.
What makes this Rednesday worthy?
1. red polka dot plates
2. red checked napkins
3. red grapes
4. red pillow on the couch in the background
Thanks for buzzing by today. So nice to see you! If you're hungry we have a few paninis we can share and plenty of red polka dot plates and red checked napkins.
(Worker Bee is responsible for this colorful tablescape. I guess I must be rubbing off on him after 20 years of marriage.)
Hope you can stop by the ever delightful Sue's
over at It's a Very Cherry World
to celebrate all the simple, elegant, gorgeous, or fun reds in our lives.
Red is fine with me...I love it! Hope "back to school" went well...Thursday is our day! Just one left at home...she will be a sophomore!
ReplyDeleteWhat Red pillow??? Uhh...I think we have an infraction here.
ReplyDeleteJust teasing you...it's all very Rednesaday worthy and thanks so much for sharing with us all on your busy day.
That Worker Bee is a keeper! I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's worthy. Back to school night is tomorrow for us. Stressful time for a teacher.
ReplyDeleteLove all the Red here! And hope back to school went well!
ReplyDeleteHappy Rednesday!
Lola & Nora:)

Your panini's sound great-enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI am loving those plates!!! I bought a little metal pail that is red and has white polka dots but I'm really loving those plates!

Worker Bee is definitely a keeper! Love the cute red and white polka dot plates!
ReplyDeleteSEriously? Worker be did this? WOW! My husband wouldn't/couldn't pull together a table like this if his life depended on it. :-) I like the dots and checks together. We do eat around the coffee table in the family room fairly regularly... probably shouldn't as we have a perfectly good kitchen table and dining room table sitting there. Good luck finding your bulbs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great theme! Your blog is so cute! I'm off to browse some more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting today.
Lisa
It's pouring rain here, and your little panini table setting sounds so cozy! I love quick dinners like that. Since I teach piano on weeknights, we have alot of dinners like this. Worker Bee sounds like a dream!

ReplyDeleteExcellent job by Worker Bee!
ReplyDeleteLove your reds. Red grapes are one of my absolute favorite things and well, nothing beats red and white polka dots. I think there's something wonderful about no-fuss dinner nights. I especially love "husband picks up dinner on the way home" nights! :)
Happy Rednesday,
Sally
A great way to enjoy a family meal in red.
ReplyDeleteShows good training.;)
ReplyDeleteMy CarGuy will be out with me antiqueing...flea marketing....and he'll bring something over to show me and ask.....'Will this work for your red thing or just your table for Thursday?' LOL they try!
Ooh, yes I am hungry and I happen to love paninis so don't mind if I do. Love the polka-dotted plates too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and commenting on the red doors. How on earth could I have missed your red door? It must be gorgeous. Where do I find it? I'd love adding it to the post.
