A Fun Funky Find for My Etsy Shop

I've been working on my etsy shop lately and I haven't had a lot of projects to share with you lately.  Although I intended to paint my newish corner cabinet today, it was just too cold and I got started too late so it will have to wait for another day.  Maybe a day with more daylight.

So, I thought I would show you this fun coverlet or quilt I found at an estate sale. I've decided I just don't have room to keep it, so I put it up in my etsy shop.

It looks like the sewer of this used decorator fabric samples to create this.  It's quite heavy.

Let me show you some close-ups of the variety of fabrics used.

 So many colors.....
It's like a step back in time.  Some of these definitely remind me of my grandparents.

Thanks for buzzing by today!
It's supposed to be 22º overnight tonight (very cold for these parts) so I'm making tummy warming Taco Soup for dinner tonight.
What are you making to keep your tummy warm?

  1. The coverlet is very funky. You poor dear, it was -2F here last night.

  2. WOW! Keep warm! I love the coverlet. Don't you love things that just take you back to a simpler place and time!!
    Hugs, Lisa

  3. Cute coverlet! Here in west Tennessee we had low 20's two nights ago, but today it got up to 68 degrees! Wednesday we will only get up to about 40 and back down into the 20's and 30's, then back up to almost 70 by Sunday. Why, if we had a beach, I guess it would be kind of like California ;-) Crazy weather this winter.

  4. Cute coverlet! Definitely makes me nostalgic.

  5. That's just lovely! Hubby made enchiladas today - very tasty and warm for these cold nights coming up.

Can't believe my vacation is over...very sad, but drinking wine to forget about it. Just hope I don't forget to wake up early tomorrow!

  6. The fabrics used are gorgeous and this is a fun find.

  7. How fun is that?! I love those crazy old modern prints. :)

  8. I love the colors in the coverlet, so vintage and fun. We are having very cold nights to burrr.
    Keep warm and hugs, Elizabeth

  9. Hi, my name is Heather! Please email me when you can, I have a question about your blog!

  10. Love your vintage coverlet! I didn't realize that it got so cold in California! We've had a few nights with temps in the 20's recently. Way too cold for me!

Thank you for buzzing by and taking time to leave me a little note. I always enjoy hearing from my friends.
