Welcome to my favorite kitchen cupboard!
Say that like Al Pacino would...... |
Nice to see you here. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your favs.
Technically, this is really our pantry, but it works so much better for us as a appliance/pan cupboard!
One weekend last January (2010 to be specific) I reorganized my pantry and cupboards to better fit my mixer, platters, griddle, waffle maker, etc., etc. I think you get the picture.
Frankly, it was probably the best and most successful project I've ever completed.
Why do you ask?
Well, after 15 months - it is STILL organized!
Um - just keeping it real here - but usually my stuff does not STAY organized. And Worker Bee and Baby Bee help put stuff away in here too. It just goes to show that if you have a space for everything (and you don't add to it) it can all stay organized.
Please enjoy more organized nirvana......
Had to show you my little apple green basket we keep the chalk in for the chalkboard. LURVE that color! |
Looks like a lot of clutter, but really it is super organized! |
The dream machine and her twin (the Kitchen Aid food processor) share these tight quarters. |
Sauce pans and frying pans..... |
Stock pots galore......I sure love to make soups and stews. |
Sweet little Mary Engelbreit hooks for aprons, and my cherry plastic bag holder. |
More pans hanging from hooks on the side of the pantry wall. Can you see the coffee maker peeking out? Doesn't get much use with my espresso maker going all the time. |
A bucket of skewers for grilling! |
A fun enamel tub filled with grocery bags for recycling. |
Can you see the "box" that these are resting in? These came with the house/pantry when we moved in and they are just perfect for Worker Bee's grilling equipment. |
Here's another one of those boxes and it's just perfect for my cookie sheets! |
Appliances, appliances, appliances.......plus pretty packaging supplies for making a homemade treat that much more special. |
And MORE appliances......plus all my baking cups. |
Platters, tins, and jelly roll pans - oh my! |
Well, that's it!
It is one jam-packed little space, but it is super functional!
I love it!
Thanks for buzzin' by!
Wanna' know what I'm making for dinner tonight? We're having turkey burgers with marinara sauce and mozzarella, a Caesar salad, and some garlic bread. Then it's off to a Parent Teacher Club meeting at Baby Bee's school. I think we'll have enough for you if you want to join us!
And thanks Sheila for hostessing this fun little get together!
Looks great!
ReplyDeleteOrganization is a great thing....it gives a person a sense of order and well being doesn't it. I organize and then get messy and then organize again. I'm a new visitor to your sweet blog and am enjoying it. I just happened onto it while surfing other homey blogs.
ReplyDeleteGreat pantry! A pantry is on my dream list if I ever get another house.
ReplyDeleteOrganization is the key to everything!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job creating the right place for all your things. I'm sure that is why the family is able to figure out where to put things!
Will you come help me organize my garage this week? I need all the help I can get!
Love seeing your cupboards and how organized you are! You've thought of everything - and everything is in it's place! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for coming to my party.
You are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Oh that is too cute with the chalk board on the door. You are so handy. Please come and do that here.
ReplyDeleteI need me one of those! Super!
ReplyDeleteI love that it's cute and organized! The little labels and red edging look fabulous! I organized a few cupboards and a hall closet last year after the holidays and they have stayed that way! You're right it is easy to keep things that way, especially if there is room and a place for everything. I still have a few kitchen cupboards to tackle... and you've inspired me to get back to it!

Love your pantry! I really love the ME hanger!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
Love your cabinet. I,too, would take time to just stand and stare... So proud that it has stayed organized!
ReplyDeleteIt does not look like clutter to me! It looks like someone knows exactly where every single thing is that she may need at any given moment. I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat really caught my attention and added so much to your little cabinet, was the red scalloped shelf liner. I love it! How I wish I could find something like that. It is next to impossible to find shelf paper that is cute..or has a trim.
Yep! Your cabinet was a HIT with me!!
I love this...a real working cupboard, so well organized and thoughtout for all of your needs. Very nice! Very cute edging.
ReplyDeleteYou know one of my goals to achieve in life, is a working cupboard...working and ORGANIZED!!!! It looks fantastic!!!!

Your little cupboard really holds a lot! I loved the little teapot hooks..so cute! ;D
ReplyDeleteYou really ARE organized...I know how hard it is to store large appliances and you have a lot of good ideas {love how your store those baking sheets!}. Thanks so much for sharing your pantry!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Janie
That is a charming little cubby, and I love the blackboard door. And you are so organized. I envy you. I couldn't show my pantry in the risk of giving people nightmares, so I shared my DR cupboard instead. It has to stay neat because it has glass doors.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
I really admire your organization and your scalloped paper. I really need to work on my pantry!
ReplyDeleteI got it in Nauvoo, Il. but you can buy them through Desert Book Stores in Utah...I so love mine! :D
ReplyDeleteYou have what most of us only dream of Organization. Trish
ReplyDeleteI like how you managed to maximize the space. It's very nice and functional....Christine
ReplyDeleteSweet Bee,
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly one organized cabinet! I adore how you have taken my Grandmother's saying..." a place for everything and everything in it's place" and made it functional for your home. We have the very same Crock Pot. Don't you love how the big crock lifts out for cleaning? I made the purchase for pot roast and whole chickens! Thanks for stopping by with you sweet comment and visit today. Hope to see you again soon, dear!
Fondly,
Pat
Sweet Bee,
ReplyDeleteI love your little, super organized cupboard! So cute and sweet. What a great place to store all those appliances! In answer to the question about my hinges on my cabinets, yes, they are original. They are brass, but I painted them black so they would stand out :) Thanks for stopping by!
I plan on staying awhile so I'll take that latte- thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteSTAYING organized is quite the feat! Congratulations! Whenever I feel like my life is out of control, I organize a drawer or cuboard. I always feel much better afterward.
I love the little scallops in your pantry. The little ME hooks look so cute and cheery, too.
Thanks for coming by my place. Now I'm off to see about your give away! ♥
Your storage pantry is wonderful, so organized! So glad you visited my blog & left a comment! Hope you visit again soon!
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Carol
Oh to stay organized...and you did it! To find a place for the fab Kitchen Aid mixer is extra special as it is so big. If I ever splurge and get one it will live on the counter as I refuse to have a microwave {yes I am weird}. Thanks for mentioning my humor, I fear some may not get it. hugs♥olive
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat space you have! Thanks for coming by my place so that I could find ya, hope you will come back sometime.
ReplyDeleteThis summer you need to come help me "do over" my house. You definitely have the decorating gene that I didn't get!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great space you have! I love the little box in which you store your cookie sheets; great idea! You are super organized and thanks for sharing it with us. Thanks for stopping by and seeing my cabinet too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
