If God came down to earth today and said, "Sweet Bee, you can only have one collection!" I would say, "Okay God, it'll have to be dishes."
Thought I'd share some of my personal favorites (okay, I cannot tell a lie, they're all my favorites) today at Vintage Thingie Thursday.
Here's a couple of my Blue Ridge plates . . .
A couple of flow blue . . .
Yes they're chipped and that makes them affordable.
The plate was a gift from my MIL. These were the dishes her family used at the lake cottage when she was a little girl. I have several more of them. I just LOVE that vibrant blue.
I have no idea how old this last platter is, but I got it on ebay. Its label says Sea Earth Enoch 1784 Ralph 1750 Woods Burslem England.
Hope you enjoy your Vintage Thingie Thursday! Be sure to stop by Suzanne's to see all the lovely vintage treasures out there.
And if you like vintage style, be sure to enter my 122nd post giveaway. (I somehow missed a giveaway for my 100th!) Just click on the picture on my sidebar and leave a comment to enter this giveaway.

ReplyDeleteBetween you and Coloradolady, not sure who has the most dishes. All of yours are pretty and some look very vintage.
ReplyDeleteLovely plate collection. I'm partial to the blues and whites.
ReplyDeleteI like the old summer cottage plates because they have a connection to your family.
ReplyDeleteI too have an addiction to plates & dishes. I love to mix & match patterns, yours are all just sooooo beautiful. My problem is I really don't cook all that well, so I use them rarely but still adore having them!!

ReplyDeleteHi Sweet Bee,
ReplyDeleteMy entire family has been sick so I have not been able to post. Just wanted to stop by my fav blogs. I love you dishes. I always wanted a dish shelf like yours. I think my fav dish is the blue trimmed on. It is so nice to think it was used at a lake house. Such nice thoughts. Have a great day.
Hugs,
Carey
