Today I'm linking up with All Things Related for their first Anything Related Blog Party!
You know the drill Lynne - don't read this either!
I've been a on crafty binge lately. I like to have little decorations out for birthdays as well as holidays so I made my friend Lynne some more little treats to help her celebrate.
This didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned, but Baby Bee knew what it was supposed to be. She said, "Oh mama, you made a cake for her." I even painted the inside chocolate brown. Yum!
The cherry on top I made with some seed beads Lynne sent me in our Valentine's exchange.
These are some clothespins I made for her when I was making all of them for Baby Bee's Big Cupcake Birthday Bash.
And then of course there have to be a few presents to open up.
Hopefully this gets to her very soon! It was so much fun to make these for such a generous person. She is a sweetie. She doesn't have her own blog yet, but my fingers are crossed that she starts one soon.
Go on over to
to see the rest of the party!
Happy Birthday Lynne!

That is SO obviously a cake, silly girl! You did an amazing job, and your friend Lynne will just love it! And I'm really liking the idea of having all kinds of birthday decorations out for the big day. Like that cake, and some little vintage candle boxes. And party hats and those noisemakers in a big apothecary jar.... Oh please don't get me started on another collection, ok?!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely little ideas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to our first Anything Related Party!!! Hope to see you back next week!

It's me again, the luckiest friend EVER! Everything Sweet Bee sent is absolutely FABULOUS -- but what really made my heart smile were the handmade goodies. Those decorated clothespins are brilliant! She didn't mention that INSIDE the adorable chocolate cake box there were wonderful stamps -- rubber and clear. (Yes, that's plural -- stampS!!! The gift box arrived exactly on my birthday and it was overflowing with thoughtfulness and generosity. (and tons of neat tsatskehs to open). in a word --WOW!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wrote a long comment. I don't see it. So this is just a check to see if it is being held for inspection...
ReplyDeleteOk..no..I lost it. Darn!
ReplyDeleteWhat I said was...if something strikes you and you love it...don't wait. I have done that and when I rushed back it was gone. NOT good. I try to think that were I meant to have it..it would have still been there but instead of feeling better...I just feel stupid.
:)
Your Spode Wicker is adorable. I love it. What a great deal!!!
