Here's what you've been waiting for.......

Today was fair set up day.  The fruits of the More Creative Friend's and my labor went on display.  Okay, in the interest of truth, the Sewing Bee did a GREAT DEAL of labor on this project.  Here let me show you....

My dear sweet mother came over on Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday morning to save me.  I really thought I could easily sew the tablecloth I envisioned (and the two sets of napkins), but after being intimidated to even cut out the fabric a call went out and the Sewing Bee stitched into action.  I owe her BIG TIME!  She made the tablecloth exactly as I wanted and then stitched up napkins for both the Christmas table and the fair theme table.  You can see here what beautiful work she did.....

Well, please, let me show you more of our Christmas table......

You can click on any picture to enlarge it.

Our whole idea was to have a kids' party for decorating gingerbread.  We used a gingerbread Christmas tree for the centerpiece.  Our menu was designed for kids to enjoy.  I had some Depression glass cups that we put candy decorations in.  The dishes are borrowed from the More Creative Friend's mother.  The More Creative Friend painted the glassware.  I used my Cricut to make the placecards.  The menu and information were made from scrapbook paper and some frames I already had.  The flatware is my everyday stainless - I love it - it is so versatile.

I have more to share.  I hope you come back again.

Thanks for stopping by.
